Naomi Azar, PhD, Program Director and Clinical Psychologist
Naomi is a compassionate trauma specialist certified in EMDR and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
With a rich background, including a postdoctoral fellowship at the esteemed Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute, Naomi has dedicated her career to understanding and healing the deep psychological impacts of trauma.
She values an open and collaborative approach to the profound work of healing the effects of traumatic stress, building resilience in the face of adversity, and helping people find a sense of calm and strength in their own skins.
Shirley Poyau, PhD, Pre-Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Shirley specializes in working with adults, children, and families who have been impacted by trauma.
Shirley has experience in helping clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, dissociation, relationship difficulties, emotional and behavioral dysregulation, and other issues that often result from adverse experiences and traumatic stress.
She uses an integrative style which blends skills-based, relational, and trauma-focused interventions. She strives to bring cultural humility to her work, and offers honesty, warmth, humor and compassion to achieve true growth, healing and transformation. She is fluent in English and Haitian Creole.
Ruolin Xie, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Ruolin has provided psychotherapy and clinical support to individuals and families of diverse ages and cultural backgrounds.
Ruolin is a multilingual clinician offering therapy in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. She specializes in depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma, ADHD, grief, LGBTQ+ concerns, relational issues, parenting stress, and cultural adjustment.
Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in neuroscience and mind-body integration. Ruolin draws from CBT, DBT, CPT, EMDR, IFS, EFT, and mindfulness-based modalities to support both short-term symptom relief and long-term healing.
Sela Aaron, Holistic Psychology Intern
Currently a student at Lesley University studying holistic psychology,
Sela has deepened her studies through advanced training in breathwork, ayurvedic medicine and meditation. With her background in working with children, Sela brings warmth and lightheartedness to her teaching.
She is excited to offer mindfulness and meditation classes for adults and children as well as a weekly sound bath. In her free time, Sela creates music and art, and loves to spend time in the outdoors.
Ellie McDonald, Internal Operations Manager
You’ll find Ellie assisting with therapy appointments as well as leading the Integrative Therapy team.
Ellie McDonald keeps the heart of ODC beating strong as our Internal Operations Manager, ensuring everything behind the scenes flows seamlessly so our team can show up fully for our community.
She’s deeply passionate about the connection between mental, physical, and spiritual health, and shares that passion as a certified yoga teacher. Whether she’s streamlining systems or guiding a yoga class, Ellie’s goal is to create spaces where people feel comfortable, supported, and empowered.
